OTHER BOOKS
What happened to my previous books?
I’ve been writing since I was really young, and I wrote seven other books before Crowns of the Sky. The reason I don’t promote these books anymore is because I feel like they don’t represent me as a writer, and I would much rather have people read what I’m writing now. These links are purely here to prove that the books do exist — I honestly don’t want anyone to click on them.
Caramel and Her Friends series
This series contains the first books I have ever published, and is the earliest version of Crowns of the Sky! Like CotS, it’s inspired by the magical world I created with my elementary school friends. It has three books, and while writing it, I was age 8-10. I used to write them by hand in notebooks and then type them into the computer, and back then, I hardly edited my books and gave them to my mom to actually publish. The first book took me almost a year, but ended up only being ~40 pages! I’ll have the link to them below, but be prepared for:
- bad writing
- Mary Sue
- no character development or backstory
- lots and lots of plot holes and things that don’t make sense
- really bad pictures of ink drawings I did on the back of my homework!
- generally just things that an elementary schooler would do

The Adventures of the Seaside Celebration series
This four-book series is a rewrite of the Caramel and her Friends series…and arguably even worse. I was age 11-13 while writing this, and at the time, I was going through a really weird phase. Basically, I thought I was “not like other girls.” I liked really loud, bright colors, wrote super silly and weird stuff, tried to be funny but failed miserably, and generally just behaved…extremely embarrassingly. If you for some reason really, really, really want to read those books, please just don’t judge too hard. And be warned for:
- bad writing
- extreme cringe
- lots of confusing parts
- attempt at character development, but everything that isn’t nonsensical is very fake and cheesy – oh, and also, not every character develops
- exaggeration of EVERYTHING
- weird names, very weird side characters
- just when you think it can’t get any worse, it does!
- also, one of the books in the series is also called The Family Jewel, so don’t get confused! The newer version is the one with the jewel in the sky, the older version is the one with that really garish orange cover.

Unpublished Books
I have some books that I either never wrote or never published! Here’s some information on them, if you’re curious:
Glory of Love
This was my very first book! I wrote it when I was seven, and as you might guess, I had no outline or even a plan of where the plot was supposed to go at all. I only had a vague idea of the characters, who were based on my stuffed animals. I got through about ten pages before I became very frustrated with the whole thing and threw the notebook I wrote it in into the trash can of my second-grade teacher’s classroom.
Queen Caramel
This was supposed to be the fourth book of the Caramel and Her Friends series. It was after a huge timeskip, where all the main characters grew up and the story was mostly about their kids. I don’t remember very well, but I think I either didn’t start this one or only wrote a few pages, but I did intend to write it for years before giving it up. The reason I didn’t finish this was because by the time I got to it, I was already hating the entire series, and wanted to just rewrite the whole thing. Still, I named my YouTube channel after this book at first!
Caramel and Her Friends (Rewrite)
I wrote this in between The Adventures of the Seaside Celebration and Crowns of the Sky! It was supposed to be a book for younger kids, and as you can probably tell by the title, it’s a rewrite of the first book in my first series, since TAotSC was supposed to be the rewrite but ended up completely different. I think it only took me about two weeks for the writing, since I made it the same length as the original (~40 pages), and another few weeks for the drawing, and I was about to edit and publish it when I was suddenly struck with the idea of Crowns of the Sky.
Glory of Love (Series)
This was going to be a spin-off series of The Adventures of the Seaside Celebration, a short story collection where you got to learn about how all the characters met, and anything that wasn’t covered in the main series. I planned to write this after finishing the rewrite of Caramel and Her Friends, but as I mentioned above, I never got to that point. I also named it after my first ever book!
Solar Eclipse
This was the second book of Crowns of the Sky! I finished the whole thing and was actually just about to publish it, when I gave it to my mom who pointed out a glaring issue with the plot. So then I decided to rearrange all the chapters and add a whole second part to it, but there were so many plot holes and confusing things I had to fix that I had on-and-off writer’s block (more often on than off). I was also very distracted because I got the idea for Wind Seeker, and I couldn’t think about anything else. You can still read about the whole awful experience in my updates page! (It starts at the 10-26-22 update) I think this is the main reason why I lost interest in the series–maybe if I didn’t have to overhaul this book, I’d still be writing it! Though, I might release the unfinished version somewhere, if anyone asks for it. Contact me if you want to read it!
Firework Wish
This is also a book I never started–it was going to be the third book of Crowns of the Sky. Not to be confused with the fourth book of The Adventures of the Seaside Celebration, which has the same name! (Yes, I like reusing names. This one is because CotS is actually a rewrite of TAotSC, which in itself is a rewrite of CaHF…jeez, no wonder I got tired of it!)
Old Websites
I feel like I should mention these somewhere! I have two old websites that are still available to anyone on the internet. The first one is zamziezforever.wordpress.com, and it’s like an encyclopedia of the TAotSC world. I also have more updates on that website from an even longer time ago. The second one is zamziezacademy.wordpress.com, which is an online school! Warning: These websites are also very bad, and are not getting updated anymore.
