THE PIGEON WITCH

“Maybe that was what an adult was really like. Nodding politely and following a set of rules on the outside, but fighting dragons and brewing potions on the inside.”
Summary
It’s the eve of Primrose’s thirteenth birthday, and she’s terrified of growing up. Expectations are growing, her body is changing, and the future seems dreadful and unknown — especially for a girl like her, who has always felt like a misfit due to her vivid imagination. She’s constantly being told by her uncle that the real world is a difficult place, where those with childish fantasies can never succeed. So, what happens when, right before her birthday, she wakes up on a mysterious magical island and meets a witch who claims she can fix her? Will Primrose give up her identity…or will she discover that true maturity means something else entirely?
